Film Reel

Films featured during the festival will include historic, lesser-known and works from within the Museum’s collection that have been preserved and restored. The Festival will also showcase recent releases as well as works by established and emerging filmmakers. Post Screening Conversations will immediately follow film screenings for the opportunity to hear from the filmmakers, cast and crew.

A call for independent film submissions of new works was opened to the public earlier this year. A selection of 15 films selected by a jury of industry professionals will be screened during the Festival. A winner will be selected in each of the following categories: Documentary Feature, Narrative Feature, Documentary Short, Narrative Short, and Experimental & Animation.

All films unrated; viewer discretion is advised.
